Face-to-Face Courses:

Prerequisites:
There are no prerequisites to enrol in this training course.

Examination:

  • 40 questions
  • Multiple choice
  • Closed book
  • 60 minute duration
  • Pass mark 70%
  • If delegate fails their first attempt, they can retake the exam for free within 12 months

The ISO/IEC 42001 Foundation exam meets all of the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP) requirements and it covers the following competency domains:

  • Domain 1: Fundamental principles and concepts of an artificial intelligence management system (AIMS)
  • Domain 2: Artificial intelligence management system (AIMS)

Examination Re-Sit Options:

There is no limit to the number of times a candidate can retake an exam. However, there are certain limitations in terms of the time span between exam retakes.

  • If a candidate does not pass the exam on the 1st attempt, s/he must wait 15 days after the initial date of the exam for the next attempt (1st retake).

Note: Candidates who have completed the training course with ALC and failed the first exam attempt, are eligible for one free retake within a 12-month period from the date the coupon code is received (the fee paid for the training course, includes a first exam attempt and one retake). Otherwise, retake fees apply.

Certification Levels:
After passing the exam, you can apply for one of the credentials listed in the table below. You will receive a certification once you fulfill the requirements below.
